American President Biden’s dog named Commander has bitten another intelligence agency official posted in the White House.

This is not the first time US President Joe Biden’s two-year-old German Shepherd dog Commander has bitten an official at the White House or Joe Biden’s ancestral home.

A statement issued by the intelligence agency on Tuesday said that the dog bit the official on Monday night after which the victim was treated at the agency complex.

The White House Press Secretary had earlier blamed the attacks on the stress of living in the White House.

“As you all know, the White House is a unique and tense place, and I’m sure you all know and understand that,” he said in July.

‘It’s strange and stressful for all of us and you can imagine what it would be like for a pet to live in such a place.’

Commander is the smaller of US President Joe Biden’s two German Shepherd dogs.

Other cases of the commander biting humans have occurred at the home of the president and first lady in Delaware.

Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said: “Around 8:00 p.m. yesterday, a uniformed Secret Service Division police officer came face-to-face with the President’s pet dog and it bit the officer.”

He later told US TV channel CNN that the injured officer had spoken to Secret Service Director Kimberly Chettle on Tuesday and that he was fine.

In July, White House officials said they were trying to rein in and train the commander in new techniques after the attacks on officials.

A Freedom of Information Act request filed by a conservative group in July revealed 10 other cases of bites by the US president’s dog Commander, according to information obtained from Secret Service records.

According to an email, an incident involving a dog named Commander occurred on October 26, 2022 when First Lady Jill Biden failed to control Commander.

The agent wrote in the e-mail that “at the time of my deployment, the commander” attacked me.

The officer further wrote that the first lady could not handle the dog and it started circling me.

“I think it’s only a matter of time before an agent or an officer is attacked by a dog.”

About a week later, another officer wrote that he had been bitten twice. Another officer who witnessed the attack said he was forced to use a ‘steel basket’ to escape the attacking dog.

On December 11, 2022, a dog named Commander attacked another agent in front of President Biden and was bitten on the arm and thumb.

A supervising agent wrote that “President Biden was there at the time and seemed upset by the commander’s actions and concerned about the injured officer.”

In the 194-page e-mails, the injuries of none of the injured officials were described as serious.

President Biden’s second dog, Major, has also been implicated in cases of biting Secret Service agents.

He has since been kicked out of the White House and now lives with family friends of President Biden. While a dog named Commander came to the White House in 2021. It was given as a gift by President Biden’s brother James.

Previously, President Biden and family also have a pet cat named Willow.
