Using the iPhone 15 without a case can cause its color to change, Apple said

California: Apple has warned consumers that using the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro without a cover may temporarily change its color.
On Thursday, the tech company said that oil produced by users’ skin could temporarily change the color of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
However, the company clarified that the phone can be restored to its original condition by wiping it with a lint-free cloth.
In this regard, in a document released on Friday, Apple said that oil from the skin can temporarily change the color of the outer band of the phone. Cleaning the phone with a soft, gentle, non-abrasive cloth will restore the phone to its original condition.
Clean the phone immediately if anything comes in contact with, stains or damages the phone (such as dirt, ink, makeup, soap, detergent, acid or lotion), the company added.
Although the company didn’t specify what kind of cleaning cloth to use, Apple would prefer a $19 cloth made by the same company to be used for the job.
