High consumption of sugar

The sugar that we all use in our daily life is commonly called ‘white sugar’.
White sugar is made from molasses and other elements, including coloring compounds, are removed to make the sugar whiter than other sugars, including brown sugar.

Let’s know how white sugar can affect our health.

Obesity develops
Regular consumption of sugar contributes to weight gain due to its high calories, which eventually leads to obesity.
Inhibition of natural insulin
Eating too much sugar interferes with the natural insulin in our body, which causes the blood cells to not respond to insulin. Because of this, our body’s blood sugar starts to fluctuate and there is a risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

High blood sugar levels
When we eat sugar regularly, it causes our blood sugar levels to rise. If the sugar level in the blood increases regularly, it can lead to diabetes.
Weakening of immunity
Excessive consumption of sugar can weaken the immune system, which increases the risk of infections and diseases.

Increased risk of heart diseases
High consumption of white sugar can cause inflammation including triglyceride levels, blood pressure, which increases the risk of heart disease.
Early aging
Consuming sugar regularly can lead to glycation problems that lead to premature aging of the body and the appearance of wrinkles on the face.

Having dental problems
Eating too much sugar increases the risk of tooth decay. Bacteria in the mouth eat this sugar and produce acid that causes tooth decay and cavities.
Malnutrition
Consuming too much sugar reduces the effects of nutrient-dense foods in our bodies, leaving us without important vitamins and minerals.

Risk of developing cancer
High consumption of sugar can increase the risk of breast, colon and pancreatic cancer.
