Items required
One medium sized fully ripe tomato
Chopping board
A sharp knife
A large sized pot
A bag of good, high-quality mix with organic soil compost (a 50/50 ratio of the two would be ideal).

Procedures
Now first fill the pot up to 3 inches with soil and compost mixture. Now carefully cut 1 inch pieces of tomato but be careful not to lose the juice and seeds inside.
Now carefully place these tomato pieces on top of the soil and compost mixture.
Now apply another layer of soil and compost mixture and use only enough compost to cover the tomato pieces.

Now place the pot in a place where it gets at least six hours of sun and light. However, in summer, protect it from the direct rays of the sun.
Remember not to water it too much, it is better to water the plant shortly before sunset and make sure the soil is moist all the time. Germination should start within 7 to 10 days.

When the batch starts to sprout, some of these seeds will be strong and some will be weak. This is the time to remove the weak and small seeds and give the bigger seeds a chance to grow well when they are well established. Once strong and at least six to eight leaves have emerged, transfer them to garden beds or separate pots.
If transplanting them into a pot, plant them at least 10 inches away from the walls of the pot and if transplanting into pots, etc., plant them at a distance of 18 to 24 inches from the bamboo.
