Does showering everyday damage hair?
It is not true that bathing causes more hair loss.

But in any case, it may be related to some of our habits that we adopt while taking a bath. Medical research does not prove that shampooing or bathing causes hair loss.

Benefits of not showering everyday?
There is no set standard for how many times a week you should wash or shower your hair and it can vary from person to person and their environment. If you have an oily scalp or a very dry scalp, you should bathe every other day.

There is no harm in bathing daily for people who exercise daily or do work that involves a lot of sweating.

How many days a week should men shower?

Men generally have more sebaceous glands in their skin, which means that their scalp has more sebum or oil, so there is nothing wrong with taking a bath every day.

Protect your head from too hot or too cold water and it is better to bathe with water that is lukewarm.

Nowadays most people use sulfate and paraffin free shampoos. Shampoo companies use sulfates to create lather in shampoos. It is better to use a shampoo that has less foaming potential, i.e. one that has less sulfate. You can consult your dermatologist or doctor and prescribe a shampoo according to your skin type.

People who have scalp or scalp problems are better off using sulfate- and paraffin-free shampoos, as sulfates and paraffins can damage the hair roots.

What kind of hair conditioner should be used?
Hair conditioner should be chosen based on whether your scalp is dry or oily. If your hair is already weak then it is better not to use conditioner but serum can be used instead of conditioner.

If your scalp gets sticky again shortly after showering, it means it has oily skin. In such a case, choose a shampoo and conditioner and consult a skin specialist.

How to clean hair while bathing?
Shampoo should be used only at the roots of the hair while conditioner is meant for the hair, it should not be applied to the roots.

If you are using an anti-dandruff shampoo or a shampoo prescribed by a doctor, use it as a medicine. First rub it on the scalp and leave it for five to ten minutes. We should apply shampoo or conditioner and gently massage our scalp with the help of fingers.

How should the towel be for teaching the head after a bath?

The threads of the towel should be soft and should not be rubbed too hard on the head. Some people rub the head with a towel very aggressively after showering. This is the reason due to which the hair on the head becomes weak or weak hair falls.

Is it better to use a hair dryer?

It is better to let the head dry in natural air after using the towel. If you must use a hair dryer, keep it away from your head and hair and do not use hot air.

Can a hair brush be used immediately after showering?
Avoid brushing immediately after bathing. Some people’s hair is already weakened after showering and showering can damage it. Brush the hair only after it is completely dry. And if your hair is tangled before brushing, use your fingers to untangle it instead of brushing.

When should hair loss be considered a problem and should one consult a doctor?
Each hair on our head grows in a ninety day cycle. Hair grows, weakens and falls out and is replaced by new hair and so on. Likewise, if you are losing more than normal amount of hair daily, consult a doctor and find out the reason.

If you have dandruff, do not remove it with your hands or by rubbing it. If you try to remove it in this way, it will increase. There is no permanent cure for dandruff.

People who eat a lot of sugar, smoke and eat dairy products are also prone to hair loss. Many studies show that high consumption of dairy products can lead to dandruff and reduced hair density. People who go to the gym usually consume protein which can reduce hair density.

Iron deficiency can also cause hair loss in women. Vitamin D deficiency can also cause hair loss. A thyroid problem can also be the cause. Vitamin B12 deficiency can also cause hair loss.

If you are deficient in these things, take supplements as advised by your doctor to supplement these nutrients.

Nuts and seeds are good for hair health. Pumpkin seeds, almonds and cashews are also beneficial for hair health. Eggs are also a good protein food and egg yolk should not be avoided for hair health.
