In an Australian court, a famous British crocodile expert has pleaded guilty to 60 charges, including having sex with animals.
The court was told that Adam Burton also made videos of torturing dozens of dogs. Majority of these dogs died as a result of this violence.
After that, Adam Burton used to broadcast these videos online from where he also obtained child abuse material.
Adam Burton is a renowned zoologist who has worked with the BBC and National Geographic. After they plead guilty, they will be sentenced.
Prosecutors presented their case against him during a hearing in the Northern Territory Supreme Court on Monday.

According to local media, Chief Justice Michael Grant expressed concern that the facts of the trial could cause a “psychological shock” after which he took the unusual step of allowing security officers and junior court officials to leave.
Prosecutors told the court that Adam Burton had a torturous sexual interest in animals since 2014 and, along with his own pets, he also tricked dog owners into surrendering their pets to him.
The court was told that Adam Burton would use an online platform to find people willing to surrender their pets for travel or work reasons and then take their animals after establishing a relationship with them. would take
When these people contacted Adam about their old pet, they were sent old photos and told ‘false stories’.
In reality, Adam Burton would sexually torture animals for which he kept a container full of recording equipment.
The court was told that Adam had dubbed the container a ‘torture room’ from which he would post videos of recorded crimes online under false names.
A similar video was passed to the police who arrested him in April 2022. The court was told that Adam sexually abused 42 dogs in the 18 months before his arrest, 39 of which died.
Adam Burton has been remanded in custody since his arrest and will now appear in court for his sentencing in December.
